Booking enquiry data
We process the selected property, stay dates, numbers of adults and children, name, phone, email and an optional message. Required fields are necessary to handle the enquiry.
Purposes and legal bases
We handle booking enquiries and communication to take steps before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Statutory records rely on Article 6(1)(c). Website security and the defence of legal rights rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). Optional analytics and marketing rely solely on consent under Article 6(1)(a).
Retention
Enquiries that do not result in a booking are kept for no longer than 12 months after the last communication. Confirmed booking data is kept for the contract and then for periods required by accounting, tax or other laws. Privacy choices are kept for no longer than 6 months.
Recipients and providers
Where necessary, data may be processed by hosting and security providers Vercel and OpenAI Sites, email delivery provider Resend, and our authorised accounting, legal or technical providers. Google Maps loads only after you click. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel load only after consent. Public authorities receive data only where required by law.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place only with GDPR safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.
